1. Artwork Resolution: High-resolution images are crucial for a sharp and clear print. The artwork should be at least 300 DPI. When sizing your art, consider the average size of a jersey panel to be around 22” x 34”.

2. File Format: For large full custom graphics, please use TIFF, PSD, PDF, EPS, or AI files. Affinity files are also accepted. These formats preserve the quality of the image and are preferred for detailed graphics that may require light editing to improve print quality of placement.   For logos or other partial panel uploads, PNG files can also work. They must be high resolution large files with transparent backgrounds.   

3. Color Mode: RGB artwork is accepted, but if possible, artwork should be created in CMYK color mode, as it aligns with the dye sublimation printing process and can help for better color matching.

4. Design Margins: Consider that numbers, logos, text, and other main points of your graphics should not be placed on outer edges of art. For front and back main panels, a quick general rule of thumb is that names numbers, and logos should not be within 3” of any outside edges. See templates for more exact guides.

5. Art not meeting specs will not be used and will not be edited.   If you provide unusable art, we will ask you for corrected art. If you’re unable to obtain correct art, we can refer you to a third party artist, or in some instances can quote directly creating / repairting your art.  Of course we can immediately refund and cancel the order if you can not obtain corrected art.

1. Balance and Symmetry: Ensure that the design remains balanced on the jersey. A logo or graphic placed too high or too low can disrupt the overall look of a uniform.  We suggest generally following standard placements for main logos, names, and numbers.  There are numerous other design choices to showcase  your innovative uniquiness.   
2. Size Proportion: The size of the graphics should be proportional to the jersey. They should be large enough to be visible but not so large that they overwhelm the garment.  Oversized text or graphics is often the telltale sign of an amatuer designer. Bigger is not always better, especialy when placing main logos, or player names and numbers.  
3. League-Specific Rules: Be aware of any sport or league-specific rules for logo placement, name use, required league badges, and other requirements.  Different sports and leagues may have unique guidelines that need to be followed.
4. Visibility: Graphics should be placed in a location where they are easily visible and not obscured by equipment or the player’s position or posture during the game.
5. Aesthetic Considerations: The placement should adhere to the aesthetic of the jersey design, ensuring that the graphics do not overshadow other elements like stripes or color blocks.  Make sure your names, numbers, and main logos are contrasted with background colors so that they are clearly visible. 
6. Collars- Please don't use text, logos, or patterns that must be perfectly aligned on collars.   Contrast colored soild collars with matching sleeves is often a great look.
7. Seams- Keep in mind that while graphics can cross seams, exact alignment from one size to another will vary. When it comes to crossing seems,  stay away from text,  logos, and fine patterns that must match across seams precisely.
